Two new test systems have been introduced by the company for developing and deploying Voice-over-IP (VoIP) networks. The Agilent Telegra VQT 2.0 now offers echo measurement capabilities, allowing engineers to accurately measure the impact of echo noise distortion on quality of service levels for next-generation IP-based network devices and services.
The Agilent Telegra Voice & Fax over IP protocol software helps network engineers integrate the H.323 VoIP protocol into new IP-based products and services during the design and installation process. The software offers what’s claimed as the industry’s first VoIP protocol expert functionality and manages the latest protocol for carrier class IP telephony as well as the SIP, MGCP and SGCP protocols.The Agilent Telegra VQT 2.0 is priced starting at $39,000; the Telegra Voice & Fax over IP software costs $495.
