Ixia to Demonstrate Cloud Readiness

May 7, 2012. Ixia will showcase its latest data-center and cloud network validation solutions at Interop 2012 in Las Vegas, May 8-10. The company will also unveil support for the new 802.11ac Wi-Fi protocol standard as part of Ixia’s IxVeriWave Wi-Fi suite of products.

 Ixia reports that today's data centers must deliver a high level of application quality of experience (QoE) without compromising on security. Ixia said it will work with various vendors to demonstrate its holistic data center validation solutions for complex cloud topologies, including SAN storage (Nexsan), switching fabric infrastructure (Dell Force10), OpenFlow controller and switch (Big Switch Networks), Application Delivery Controllers (F5), Web gateways (Blue Coat), next-generation firewall and unified threat management (SonicWALL), and physical layer switching (ONPATH Technologies).
