Enclosures Hold DIN-Mounted PCBs

Sept. 1, 1999

A series of DIN rail-mounted PCB instrumentation enclosures is manufactured to DIN 43880 dimensions. The line includes kits of single-, two-, three-, four-, six- or nine-module sizes that hold up to three PCBs for maximum component stacking. They’re designed for quick and easy installation. Constructed of flame-retardant Noryl that’s rated UL94V-0, the modules offer a choice of standard, solid grey front panels with options of transparent red or clear for LEDs or LCDs. For terminal protection there are two snap-fit options of fully formed for IP20 terminal protection or 5.08-, 7.5-, 7.63- and 10.16-mm perforated terminal covers that allow screwdriver access. In addition, the six- and nine-module boxes have an option of single or twin sets of terminal covers.
