Optimized for the growing mid-size LCD panel market, the CAT4139 boost converter provides a switching current up to 750 mA and drives LED strings with up to 22V, making it suitable for digital photo frames and other backlighting applications employing up to 40 LEDs. It operates with a fixed frequency of 1 MHz and a CMOS output stage drives five LED strings at voltages up to 22V with efficiency levels to 87%.
