Sporting a slim, compact design measuring 40 mm x 13 mm x 24 mm, the 4-pole SFS safety relay features forcibly guided contacts that comply with EN50205 Type A requirements. Cutting down on external circuitry and reducing related costs, the component integrates an LED indicator. Safety features include a maximum response time of 8 ms and a minimum resistance to shock of 200 m/s2. The SFS is available in 2a2b, 3a1b, 4a2b, 5a1b, and 3a3b contact arrangements, and PCB sockets are also available. Target markets include machine tools, elevator and escalator control, factory automation, and automotive manufacturing. Price is $11.40 each/1,000 with delivery from stock to 12 weeks.
