Available in variations of red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and white, this new line of ultra-bright LEDs provides a typical brightness, depending on color, of 5,000 mcd. The devices are available in T-1 and T-1 3/4 sizes with a choice of viewing angles from 16° to 50°. Supplied as standard two-lead, through-hole devices, the LEDs emit light from the top and operate at voltages ranging from 2 to 4.5 Vdc. A wide variety of surface- mount LEDs are also available.
