Collins & Aikman names Wynalek EVP and CTO

Collins & Aikman Corporation (www.collinsaikman.com) has named James Wynalek executive vice president and chief technology officer, responsible for all research, engineering, development and design activities for the Company, which makes instrument panels and cockpit modules, among other automotive products.

Collins & Aikman Corporation has named James Wynalek executive vice president and chief technology officer, responsible for all research, engineering, development and design activities for the company, which makes instrument panels and cockpit modules, among other automotive products.

Wynalek joins Collins & Aikman from Dell Computer, where he was vice president product engineering and quality for Dell Americas Operations. Earlier, he held management positions at Visteon Corporation and Ford Motor Company.

Collins & Aikman has also completed the sale of Collins & Aikman Europe to International Automotive Components Group (IAC).
