SIMPLORER's nonlinear magnetic core modeling capability allows users to accurately simulate saturation, hysteresis, and eddy-current loss in magnetic materials commonly found in inductors and transformers of switched-mode power supplies. The Jiles-Atherton-based model is part of SIMPLORER 6.0 Service Pack 2, available for free download for SIMPLORER customers.

The SMPS library provides commonly used power-electronic circuit topologies, controls, and auxiliary components geared toward the design of dc-dc converters; they are frequently used in automotive, aerospace, and industrial automations. The library is an add-on that includes both averaged and switching-level models. Applications include power conversion and power generation.
