PXI/cPCI Switch Routes Signals Up To 1.3 GHz

Multiplexing signals up to 1.3 GHz and featuring a characteristic impedance of 50 ohms, the NI 2590 is a 4:1, high-frequency switch for PXI/CompactPCI applications. The unit serves as a complementary signal-routing vehicle for the firm's NI 5112 computer-based oscilloscope. The device is suited for production test, ATE and data-acquisition applications in which users must acquire, stimulate and route high-frequency signals from multiple test points. It comes with an IVI-compliant instrument driver and works with the firm's LabVIEW and LabWindows/CVI application development environments. Price: $495.
