Electro-Deposited Nickel Bellows Serve Dynamic Sealing Apps Reliably

Sept. 1, 1998

Reliability and long life are key characteristics of these new electro-deposited nickel bellows, which are said to be well-suited for dynamic sealing applications. The devices can be designed for a variety of stroke and pressure combinations and for temperatures from -423°F to 350°F. If assembly is required, the bellows can be soldered or E-B welded to custom-end pieces. The company can manufacture the complete assembly. Applications include hermetic sealing of switches and circuit breakers.
