Industrial Connectors Handle Harsh Environments

Nov. 1, 2000

Designed specifically for critical applications subject to harsh handling and environments, the 320IEC13 and 320EIC15 are IEC connectors for industrial computers, servers, peripherals, utility vehicles, broadcast sound and video, and more. The connectors are built to the international standard for appliance couplers and can be used to supply power to a wide range of electronic equipment, including computers, monitors, and printers. They use Perma-Lock terminals with collar-lug overleaves that "lock-up" as the contact tangs tighten down on the wires, virtually eliminating the need to every re-tighten the terminals. The 320IEC13 is rated for service at 65°C; the 320IEC15 is rated for service at 120°C.
