Microminiature Connectors Offer High Densities For RF Applications

Jan. 1, 2002

Designed for applications operating at frequencies from dc to 6 GHz, the MMCX microminiature connectors promise to optimize space usage and RF performance in high-density systems. Complying with the CECC 22340 standard interface specifications, the connectors are available in surface-mount, edge-mount, or through-hole configurations.Using a non-slotted outer conductor, the connectors achieve an RF leakage performance of -60 dB. A straight plug costs less than $2 each/>5,000. MOLEX INC., Mooresville, IN. (877) 665-3873.
