Richardson Ramps Up Wireless Product Distribution

Under a global distribution agreement, Richardson Electronics will distribute longtime engineering partner LS Research’s embedded wireless products. This includes a unique combination of FCC pre-certified wireless modules, gateways, and development kits based on 802.11 b/g/n, ZigBee/802.15.4, and 900-MHz technology. For example, the ModFLEX modules share a common design and footprint and work with emerging LS Research gateway products, which will be released later this year. The gateways provide connectivity for Ethernet and USB. Additionally, clients can purchase the certified modules or license the design files for complete control.
