Renesas 365: One Tool to Develop Them All

Renesas 365 is a web-based design tool that goes from system design through software development.

Renesas 365 is designed to link different design groups as systems develop from a functional model, to hardware, to software that runs on the system. It provides the scaffolding to quickly design and build a system, including support for hardware development platforms that incorporate Renesas silicon.

I earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in Computer Science from Rutgers University. I still do a bit of programming using everything from C and C++ to Rust and Ada/SPARK. I do a bit of PHP programming for Drupal websites. I have posted a few Drupal modules.

I still get a hand on software and electronic hardware. Some of this can be found on our Kit Close-Up video series. You can also see me on many of our TechXchange Talk videos. I am interested in a range of projects from robotics to artificial intelligence.

Ted Pawela is Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Altium, a public software company that provides PC-based electronics design software for engineers who design printed circuit boards. Previously, Ted served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Prior to joining Altium, Ted served as Product Management Executive responsible for marketing at BIOVIA (a subsidiary company of Dassault Systemes). As COO, Ted works closely with the CEO to drive brand and program management to successfully execute against Altium’s corporate goals in its bid for PCB market leadership and going beyond to bring about a transformation of electronics design.

Ted is actively involved in marketing, M&A, and partnership activities of Altium and strategy development. He has extensive knowledge and experience in marketing at a leadership level and a strong technical background with broad functional experience in software companies.
