Housed in a black polycarbonate case measuring 4.22" x 2.60" x 1.51" high and weighing just 12 oz., the BCM family of battery chargers comes in models for charging nickel metal hydride (NiMH) or nickel cadmium (NiCd) batteries, with 12 models available for each of the two chemistries. The chargers can handle multiple-cell packs of 3-6,5-10 and 8-12 cells, with the BCMÕs fast charge capability varying from up to 1.5A, 1.2A and 1.0A, respectively, for the three pack size ranges.The BCM family also boasts of a programmable controller that offers users the choice of the three charger pack sizes, as well as four different charge times: 1.5, 3, 6 or 9 hrs.
