RoHS compliant, the F4804A input filter can operate with multiple dc/dc converters without airflow and/or derating at ambient temperatures up to 85°C when observing the application guidelines described in the data sheet. The filter minimizes conducted and radiated emissions generated by switch-mode dc/dc converters in accordance with FCC and EN55022 Class B requirements. It provides up to 4A of input filtering from 0V to 80V and employs a differential LC-filter stage, which virtually guarantees compliance with noise standards across a frequency range from 150 kHz to 30 MHz, including the fundamental switching frequency and its harmonics. Pricing is $9 each/1,000. POWER-ONE INC., Camarillo, CA. (866) 969-3438.
