Accepting a universal ac input, the 72W AD72 power adapter delivers a single regulated 16 Vdc output voltage and up to 4.5A continuous. Target applications include instrumentation, test and measurement systems, telecommunications, and computer peripherals. Employing a switch-mode design that complies with the Blue Angel requirement, the adapter specifies a typical efficiency of 84%. It comes with a two-pin (type C8) IEC320 ac-input receptacle and includes an internal input fuse. Other features include an operating temperature range from +5°C to +40°C without de-rating, over-voltage, over-power, and short-circuit protection with automatic recovery, and an EMI filter.
