A new modular DIN-rail mountable TVSS solution has been designed for 3-phase power applications. The BRICKTRAB is designed to give end-user and OEM power installations increased system uptime and reliability with more than 40,000A of surge current handling capacity and low voltage protection levels. This hybrid protection circuit protects against both normal mode (line-to-line) and common mode (line-to-ground) transients and incorporates diagnostic monitoring of protection status with local and remote failure indication. In addition, removable TVSS modules allow for verification testing without interruption to the power system. National and international certifications include UL 1449 2nd edition, CE, IEC, VDE, and CSA. Standard voltage configurations are available. The BRICKTRAB comes with an extended five-year warranty including free replacement plugs. PHOENIX CONTACT INC., Harrisburg, PA. (800) 322-3225.
