Providing a four-to-one input range to accommodated distributed power architectures, the 0RQB-C0U series open-frame, isolated dc/dc converters come in an industry-standard 2.28" x 1.45" quarter-brick package and deliver up to 100W of output power from a nominal 48V input. Their four-to-one input range supports both 24V and 48V inputs in the same module. The converters operate at efficiencies up to 91% over an output range extending from 1.2V to 12V. Control and protection features include differential remote on/off, positive/negative remote sense, input over-/under-voltage lockout, and over-temperature protection, output-voltage trim, current limit, and short-circuit protection. Switching at a fixed frequency of 285 kHz, operating temperature ranges from -40°C to +85°C. Pricing starts at $47.50 each/1,000. BEL POWER INC., Jersey City, NJ. (800) 235-3873.
