Allowing users to set any voltage trip point for any amount of hysteresis, the MIC2779 power supervisor IC features adjustable hysteresis and a 140-ms pulse generator that prevents output chatter. Both trip points and hysteresis are adjusted with resistors. And the MIC2779 allows users to adjust the polarity of the push-pull output, eliminating the need for a pull-up resistor and lowering power consumption. Other features of the two power supervisors include an operating voltage range from 1.5V to 5.5V, a current consumption of 1 µA typical, separate Vdd and monitoring inputs, and a temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. Pricing is $0.72 each/1000.
