Designers of cell phones, medical, portable and consumer applications will appreciate the RDS(ON) specification of 75m? at -4.5V of the FDZ371PZ, a 20-V P-Channel MOSFET in a 1-mm x 1-mm WL-CSP package. The FDZ371PZ is designed with the company’s PowerTrench process technology that keeps on-resistance at a bare minimum, thus minimizing conduction losses. Low conduction losses mean greater efficiency and extended battery life for portable designs. The MOSFET also provides robust ESD protection of 4.4 kV. The FDZ371PZ's WL-CSP package uses four 250-µm lead-free solder balls, providing excellent electrical and thermal resistance values. Package height, when mounted, is just 0.4 mm. Samples are available now; pricing is $0.30 each in lots of 1000 with delivery in eight to 12 weeks. FAIRCHILD SEMICONDUCTOR, San Jose, CA. (408) 822-2000.
