Compact Enclosure Packs 12 cPCI Slots, Offers Many Options

Devised for industrial, datacom, telecom and prototype applications, the 545 series CompactPCI enclosure provides up to 12 cPCI slots and offers multiple plug-in peripheral and variable power supply output options. The enclosure has five to eight 6U x 160 mm, front-accessible slots and 6U x 80 mm rear-accessible transition slots in a package that measures just 4 U to 6U high, 17” wide and 12” deep.
Constructed of 0.09” 5052-H32 aluminum, an unloaded enclosure weighs approximately 13 lbs. The chassis supports hot-swap and N+1 and comes with a 175W front-pluggable ac (90 to 264V) or dc (40 to 72V) power supply. Voltage is selectable 5V at 25A, 3.3V at 25A, 12V at 5A, or 12V at 1.5A.
The backplane supports the 64-bit architecture and provides coding keys for selectable voltage I/O and telephony bussing options. Prices start at $1,995.
