Graphical Programming Tool Targets R&D

Offered as a graphical PC programming environment for stand-alone research and development (R&D) applications, VEE OneLab is designed for users who are creating measurement programs to collect data from PC-based hardware and up to four instruments. Built-in analysis provides access to advanced math and graphics functions from the professional version of MathWork's MATLAB.
A set of standards-complementary functions use almost 1,000 drivers for the most popular instruments from 70 different vendors. And seven built-in multimedia tutorials for Windows and many VEE program examples for Excel, Visual Basic, VC++ and MATLAB are said to make the program easy to learn and use. A free trial version can be downloaded from the company's web site. Price: $595.
