Memory Upgrades Target Popular Servers

Designed for Compaq's HPC160 and HPC320 parallel servers, the company's memory upgrades are claimed to meet the increasing requirements for computing power in high-performance technical applications. The new line of modules deliver four memory capacitites: 256 MB (CMX-HPC-256), 512 MB (CMX-HPC-512), 1024 MB (CMX-HPC-1G), and 2048 MB (CMX-HPC-2G). Standard memory for the HPC160 is 8 GB, scaleable up to 64 GB. For the HPC320 system, standard memory is 16 GB, expandable up to 128 GB. Pricing is $980 for 256 MB, $1900 for 512 MB, $3,600 for 1 GB, and $6800 for 2 GB.
