Power Connectors Meet US, European Standards

Oct. 1, 1998

Compatible with electrical safety standards applicable in the United States and Europe, the AK Series family power entry boxes are primarily made of PA-66 nylon and handle 25A to 50A, three-phase, 600V. Said to be "green" in construction, the contents are entirely recyclable for non-renewable contents after the host appliance is exhausted. Metal contacts in the series can be copper, brass, tin-plated brass or nickel-plated steel. Power distribution terminals are fitted with recessed, touch-safe screw heads and floating vise-clamp screw terminals accommodate wire sizes from 18 to 8 AWG.
