SMT Interconnect Line Now Offers 0.050" Pitch Headers And Sockets

Feb. 1, 1999

Single- and dual-row pin headers and mating sockets in 0.050" pitch designs have been added to the firm's line of gull-wing SIP interconnects. The interconnects can be supplied in various lengths: from three pins in a single row and four pins in dual rows to as many as 100 (2 x 50) pins. Other pitches available include 0.100" and 2 mm (0.078"). All are specifically designed to provide maximum solder-joint strength and easy inspection. Insulators of high-temperature material are suitable for all soldering processes. Pins and sockets are precision machined brass and plated with gold or tin.
