Suite Automatically Creates Cell Libraries

June 1, 1999

Cell libraries can be created through design synthesis, custom layout, migration, or a database of prepackaged generators with the ProGenesis tool suite. The suite includes the ProGenerate library generation tools, as well as the ProMigrate and ProGen Library tools. Whether cells are synthesized from SPICE input, custom-created using the graphical editor, produced from a large database of cell generators, or migrated from existing GDS layout, the software provides total control over layout and compaction, captures manual changes, and regenerates layouts automatically. The program also includes firm's ProSticks visual editor, which allows users to graphically create or edit cell generators. Pricing depends upon the licensing options selected.
