Transmit/Receive Modules Deploy Telemetry Links Up To 1,200'

Feb. 1, 2002

Capable of implementing a simple telemetry link over a distance of up to 1,200' with data rates up to 128 kb/s, the QFMT5 transmitter and QFMR5 receiver modules are suitable for one-to-one and multi-node wireless links. Operating over the 433.92 MHz frequency band, three data rates of 15 kb/s, 50 kb/s and 128 kb/s are available as standard.Targeting portable, battery powered applications, the QFMT5 measures 32 mm x 13 mm x 3.4 mm and the QFMR5 measures 49 mm x 17 mm x 4.5 mm. Both modules come in a miniature, fully-shielded SIL package and their pin layouts comply with industry-standard formats. The transmitters operate on 3V or 5V with typical supply currents of 7 mA and 5 mA, respectively. The receivers operate on 5V with a 4.8 mA supply current. Quantity pricing starts at $17 each.
