Sales and distribution agreements are now in effect between TriQuint Semiconductor Inc. and MEMEC (Asia Pacific) Ltd. The distributor's Unique Division will handle TriQuint's RF, microwave, analog and mixed-signal GaAs ICs in South Korea, Taiwan, the People's Republic of China and Hong Kong, while the MEMEC Asia Pacific organization will cover Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines. TriQuint went with MEMEC because of its extensive Asian infrastructure, which includes five branches in China, and its central warehouse in Hong Kong.
