Versatile Shielded Cages Hold VME, CompactPCI Cards

The Type II Magic enclosures/sub-racks are engineered for use with VME and Eurocard platforms, and the Type II Spirit is designed for CompactPCI and VME64 applications. Type II cases come in 3U and 6U sizes and have up to 21 slots. Type II cases are easily assembled in about 5 minutes. With EMC shielding and strong, conductive aluminum and galvanized steel construction, the units' top and bottom case covers are perforated for additional cooling and are easily removed for service. Front profiles comply with IEEE 1101.10 and CompactPCI specifications, and cases are specially designed for plug-in units with high insertion/extraction requirements.
