Rutronik to exhibit at Sensors Expo

June 25, 2018

San Jose, CA. Rutronik Inc., a global broad-line stocking distributor with a comprehensive portfolio of products and technology solutions for IoT and embedded systems, is attending and exhibiting at Sensors Expo and Conference June 26-28 in San Jose, CA.

“The Sensors Expo is one of the leading conferences for showcasing and learning about new sensor trends, products, and solutions,” said Sean Sisson, Rutronik vice president North America. “We look forward to both showcasing our suppliers’ wide range of sensing technologies for the automotive, industrial, and medical markets, as well as introducing Rutronik’s inventory management services, suppliers, and engineering support services to other businesses and companies in the sensor industry.”

Recognized as the sensor industry’s largest event in North America, this year’s Sensors Expo is expected to draw more than 6,500 attendees, over 100 speakers, and more than 300 exhibitors for three days of workshops, keynote speakers, technical sessions, and networking events covering a range of topics, including MEMS and sensors, energy harvesting and power management, IoT and wire, and optical sensing and detection.

Rutronik will focus on these areas at the 2018 Sensors Expo:

  • Rutronik has a comprehensive range of sensors for the automotive industry from leading component suppliers for connected vehicles, eMobility applications, as well as drivetrain and chassis and safety systems.
  • Rutronik’s range of sensors for embedded computing, wireless networks, and secure data storage systems are suitable for industrial IoT applications, as well as bundled component solutions, including selected sensors, microcontrollers, and power-management and security solutions for the IoT.
  • Rutronik said its partners in medical electronics have proven technology and high-quality components that are consistently available. Rutronik offers solutions that minimize the long development times and high procurement costs that can make it difficult to design and manufacture advanced medical systems.

Sission added that this year’s Sensors Expo is timely, considering Rutronik recently opened a new location in Santa Clara as part of an ongoing sales network expansion in the U.S. A new office also opened near Boston.

The Sensors Expo exhibit floor will be open Wednesday, June 27, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Thursday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Visit the Sensors Expo 2018 website to register. For more information about, please visit www.rutronik.com.
