Compact, high-resolution two-axis gimbal mount

Optimal Engineering Systems’ compact AU100-ER two-axis Gimbal Mount  features a full 360 degrees of continuous rotation of each axis. This compact two-axis gimbal mount handles loads to 10 kg (22 lbs) and has a clearance of 300 mm x 300 mm (11.8 in. x 11.8 in.) about the roll axis of the stage. The pitch axis stage is mounted on a large 360-mm x 360-mm (14.173-in. x 14.173-in.) 13-mm (0.512 in.) plate for increased stability. The TDK-Lambda FQA series of EMC filters, with a rating of ±40 VDC at 20 A, has a rugged encapsulated quarter-brick package with a choice of flanged or non-flanged baseplates. These modules are suitable for use in a variety of harsh and demanding environments. The FQA Series is designed with a high differential and common-mode noise attenuation. The modules also provide input spike protection to MIL-STD-1275D and RTCA/DO-160G. AC/DC enclosed power supplies

RTP high-performance oscilloscope

With new 13 GHz and 16 GHz models, the R&S RTP high-performance oscilloscope family, which the vendor says is the most compact multi-purpose lab instrument available, is now scalable from the 4 GHz minimum up to the full 16 GHz bandwidth. Additional new highlights are debugging functions such as the high-speed serial pattern trigger using hardware-based clock-data-recovery (CDR) up to 16 Gb/s as well as the DDR4 signal-integrity and compliance test capability. Broadband quadrature mixer

Model SFQ-40360311-VFVFSF-N1-M is a broadband quadrature mixer that covers the frequency range of 40 to 60 GHz. The typical conversion loss of the quadrature mixer is 11 dB with an LO driving power of +15 dBm. The typical LO to RF port isolation is 30 dB. Since the IF port of the quadrature mixer is DC-coupled, the mixer can be used as a phase detector. Clamshell Socket for 1-mm Pitch Xilinx FF896

Ironwood Electronics recently introduced a new high-performance BGA socket for a 1-mm-pitch BGA, 896-pin Xilinx IC. The CG-BGA-4027 socket is designed for 31-mm x 31-mm package size and operates at bandwidths up to 27 GHz with less than 1 dB of insertion loss. The socket is designed with an easy-open clamshell lid mechanism to enhance user experience when using high-pin-count devices in the socket. Differential Measurement System

Kaman Precision Products’ KD-5100 differential measurement system provides resolution to a nanometer of positional change. With its stable design, small size, and low power consumption, the KD-5100 is suitable for night-vision systems, precision telescope positioning, fast steering mirrors (FSM) for space-based and airborne applications, and image stabilization systems. Featuring a small package size – only 2 x 2.12 x 0.75 in. thick – the KD-5100 is a good choice for applications where space is a limiting factor.
