Simulating Battery Charge and Discharge Via IU Table Function

April 30, 2024
Find out how function generators take advantage of the IU table function

The IU table function (XY table) provides the user with the ability to set a DC output current based on the DC voltage measured at the DC terminals. This is useful for applications such as simulating the charging and discharging of the battery. It is also handy for simulating solar panels for PV-related tests. This application note shows how to use this functionality with EA Elektro-Automatik's PSB, PSI, and ELR 10000 series.
