Rectifiers Handle 600V To 1 kV
Debuting as 30A to 45A, single in-line rectifiers, the company’s latest PowerBridge rectifiers handle maximum peak reverse voltages of 600V to 1 kV and feature a high case dielectric strength of 1.5 kV. The 45A devices are reportedly the industry's first single in-line bridge rectifiers in the PowerBridge package with a body size of 30 mm x 20 mm x 3.8 mm. Compared to larger bridge rectifiers, the thermal construction of the PowerBridge devices allegedly allows heat to dissipate more efficiently, thereby providing the same power ratings as larger packages while requiring smaller heat sinks. For user convenience, the devices offer compatible lead pitches and pin layouts to the conventional GSIB-5S package. For prices, call VISHAY INTERTECHNOLOGY, INC., Malvern, PA. (619) 336-0860.
