Pumped for automotive applications, the MAX9918, MAX9919, and MAX9920 high-side current-sense amplifiers (CSAs) specify a wide input common-mode range spanning from -20V to +75V. The MAX9918 and MAX9919 feature a ±400-mV input-offset voltage while the MAX9920 provides ±900 mV. The MAX9918 and MAX9920 feature adjustable gain, settable via an external resistive-divider network. The MAX9919 offers fixed gains of 45 V/V or 90 V/V. All three devices operate as unidirectional amplifiers when VREFIN = GND and as bidirectional amplifiers when VREFIN = Vcc/2. The devices are available in eight-pin SO packages with prices starting at $0.85 each/1,000. MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS, Sunnyvale, CA. (800) 998-8800.
