The MAX4562/MAX4563 programmable switch arrays offer serial control that minimizes I/O ports and a soft switching mode that lets the selected switch turn on or off slowly for clickless audio operation. The switches can be operated without the clickless feature for higher speed audio or video applications. The devices contain two SPDT switches and two SPST switches. MAX4562 has a two-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface and MAX4563 has a three-wire, SPI/QSPI/Microwire-compatible serial interface.
