The Ultrasafe fuse holder blocks mount on standard DIN rails and occupy up to 15% less space than traditional fuse holders. The blocks improve safety via a finger-safe design with recessed screws and a fuse extraction door, reportedly making user contact with live parts impossible. The new fuse holders are rated for 600 Vac operation with indicator dc voltages of 24V and 48V at 30A and can accommodate wire sizes from 6 to 14 AWG. The blocks are available for Class CC and midget fuses in one-pole through four-pole, one-pole through four-pole with indicator, one-pole with indicator, three-pole with a fourth neutral pole, and four-pole with neutral link configurations. Other features of the blocks include a vented housing, backed-out pressure plates, and a neon indicator that helps identify the down circuit.
