Long a staple in consumer electronics, black has become one of the most requested colors for commercial electronics equipment. The new media lets designers specify neutral colored air filters to blend with packaging and enclosures. Black Quadrafoam is said to easily show dirt and specific particulates of certain colors when blended with gray or green media. The black air filter media can also make it easy for users to identify dirty filters.
