The S8380 and S8381 NMOS linear image sensors are designed for multichannel spectrophotometry applications and image readout systems. Operating from 200 to 1000 nm, they have a 750-nm peak sensitivity wavelength. Dark current is typically 0.2 pA for the S8380 and 0.1 pA for the S8381, and saturation charge is typically 50 and 25 pC, respectively. These low figures permit a long integration time and a wide dynamic range. Also, the S8380 and S8381 have 50- and 25-µm pixel pitches, respectively. Both use pixels that are 2.5 µm high. The S8380 offers sensors with 128, 256, or 512 pixels, while the S8381 offers sensors with 256, 512, and 1024 pixels. Each sensor features a 22-pin design. Pricing starts at $460. Delivery is six weeks ARO.
