A novel high-current Han(r) K 8/0 industrial connector incorporates eight contacts rated at 100A each. Developed by Harting, it can be used at voltages up to 690V, and is suited for medium-power applications in factory automation, rail transportation, wind turbines, and test equipment.

In addition to the eight power contacts, the Han(r) K 8/0 has a protective earth (PE) connection. The cable termination method is the well-established and easy-to-use axial screw contact.

The connector can be mounted in standard construction size 24 B hoods and housings with protection degrees available up to IP 68, or can be used in closed electrical enclosures in conjunction with the Han-Snap(r) range of DIN rail-mounting components.
