With an operating temperature range from -40°C to 100°C, the 8308 SC and 8208 FC single-mode, hot-melt fiber-optic connectors can be used indoors and in harsh, outside plant environments. The connectors meet all tests required by Telcordia GR-326-CORE issue 3 specifications and exceed the TIA/EIA 568-B.3 standard. Both connectors exhibit an insertion loss of less than 0.2 dB and employ pre-radiused zirconia ceramic ferrules that can be polished in the field for typical reflections of -55 dB. The 8208 FC is compatible with FC connectors as per NTT specs. The 8308 SC also adheres to NTT, as well as CENELEC, ANSI and BICSI standards. 3M TELECOMMUNICATIONS, Austin, TX. (800) 225-5373.
