A through-hole inductor from BI Technologies’ Magnetic Components Division, designated the HM37 Series, features a ferrite core that enables the device to operate at high switching frequencies. The device is also housed in a small bead package that provides both low core losses and low DCR losses. Typical pricing for the series is less than $0.50 in quantities of 25,000.
