By employing Flotherm thermal management software, the time and cost required to design new ADSL telecomm enclosures reportedly can be significantly reduced.
In one instance in which the software was employed to simulate air movement and heat dissipation in an 108" x 76" x 48" cabinet for configurable ADSL communications systems, the OEM was able to determine that only three rather than four exchangers were needed to cool the cabinet.
