The V series of portable videoscopes are intended for remote video inspection applications. They include a CCD (charge coupled device), solid-state camera and metal-halide lamp. They produce bright, high-resolution images on an integrated LCD monitor, and are equipped with a compact digital image storage card and USB port. The system consists of a video borescope and the VIH Pro video imaging hub. The borescope is available in 6 mm and 8 mm diameters, two-way and four-way articulating, as well as non-articulating versions. The borescope is designed for one-hand operation, and the articulation versions allow a user to guide the scope completely into inspection areas. Lengths range from 1.5 m to 15 depending on the model. Removable digital storage media or a USB port can be used to transfer data to a personal computer.
