\[September 12, 2006\] Expanding the UF2-4600 series are twelve digitizer cards with 2-, 4-, or 8-channel configurations that employ multiple 16-bit a/d converters for true simultaneous sampling and offer a choice of maximum sampling rates from 200 ksamples/s to 3 Msamples/s. Each card includes 32 Msamples of signal memory, expandable to 2 Gsamples via a proprietary DIMM. They can record signals to card memory and then either offload them or continuously stream signals at speeds up to 225 MB/s to the PC host. Other features include resolutions up to 14.5 ENOB, support for single-ended and differential input termination without reduction of channel count, and self-calibration functions. The cards come with drivers for Windows and Linux. Single-unit prices range from $3,190 to $11,990. STRATEGIC TEST CORP., Woburn, MA. (866) 898-3278.
