Integrating multi-standard stereo and an interface to silicon tuners, the SAA7136 and SAA7137 decoder family aims to deliver high-fidelity stereo and 480p/576p component video capture in wireless applications. Other shared features include 10-bit a/d conversion, enhanced Macrovision detection, and 1080i/720p downscaling. The SAA7136 and SAA7137 are available in BGA-256 and SQFP-208 packages, respectively, and are supported by the MACH-III evaluation system.
