Available as nineteen 3.3V high-performance LVC/LVCH devices, the LVC family is the latest addition to firm's LCX, LCXPlus and FCT logic families. The LVC devices are well-suited for 3.3V applications such as laptop computers and portable equipment. The 5V-tolerant inputs and outputs allow interfacing in a mixed-voltage environment such as found in data processing, telecommunications, networking and mass-storage applications. Applications include hot docking and hot swapping uses. Eight-bit devices come in SOICs, QSOPs or TSOPs; 16-bit types come in SSOPs or TSSOPs.
