Intended to support memory applications, 74VCX16835 and 74VCX162835 18-bit universal bus driver devices are fully compliant with the logic interface requirements of the PC100 DIMM module specification. The devices, along with 74VCX16838/2838 and 74VCX16839/2839, provide 16-, 18- and 20-bit solutions for 168- and 200-pin SDRAM registered module address and control buffering. They are suited for use in modules with memory densities of 64M, 128M, 256M and 513M. The 74VCX16835 and 74VCX162835 are the newest devices added to a family optimized for 2.5V performance and offering multiple voltage compatibility of 3.6V, 2.5V, and 1.8V. Edge rate control circuitry designed into the devices reduces device-generated noise/EMI. The devices are available in a 56-lead TSSOP.
