Oct. 23, 2020
The Arm DevSummit had some added intrigue with the company recently being acquired, but other interesting announcements also made a splash.

The Arm DevSummit was interesting this year for a variety of reasons, including its recent acquisition by Nvidia. One of the key announcements was the Cassini Project, which includes standards such as Arm’s SystemReady and the PARSEC project that expands the Arm Platform Security Architecture (PSA) into the world of containers. A host of sessions covered everything from Amazon’s AWS Graviton 2 Neoverse-based processor to security, as well as the transition from 32- to 64-bit processors in the smartphone space.
