All-In-One 6U cPCI CPU Card Wears Many Hats

Capable of being used as a multi-tasked blade server, network device, or as a multi I/O controller in a low-energy system, the cPCI-6760D all-in-one, single-slot 6U CompactPCI CPU card is hot swappable and operates without the need of a fan. The card employs a BGA2 Pentium III or Celeron processor operating up to 850 MHz on a 100-MHz front side bus and provides dual bridging support for applications demanding maximum I/O expandability. Other features include support for up to 512 MB of RAM and a built-in 2.5" ATA hard-disk drive or removable CompactFlash socket daughter board. The cPCI-6760D can act as a standalone system or as part of a multiprocessing blade server system of up to 21 blade servers. Compliant with PICMG 2.0, 2.1, and 2.7, operating-system support includes MS-DOS 6.2 and higher, Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000, Red Hat Linux 7.0, VxWorks, and others. Price is $2,295 each/10.
